DogEgg258Welcome to *StreetCar* (aka Line Number One), a 2-5 player city network theme game. A game contains two phases. All players start in phase 1, where each turn a player must place two track tiles onto the map. Once you complete your route, you can select to start phase 2. Once you start, you roll dice and move your trolley in your turn instead of placing tiles. 1maintitlebar_content

DogEgg258On your panel, you can see your goal: [blue]a Street number *2*[/blue] and [green]three letters *G, H and L*[/green]. This means in this tutorial, your trolley is going to start from a Street [blue]*2*[/blue], go through the [green]*three stations*[/green], and go to the other Street 2. 2shortestRouteButton_86120234

DogEgg258You can adjust the size of the map by clicking the zoom-in and zoom-out buttons. It is recommended to adjust it so that you can see *Station F and L* without scrolling too much the screen.3zoom_out

DogEgg258The stations we must pass through are highlighted. Let's place a straight track to the left of station L (Library). !!! [red]A track *cannot* lead to walls or buildings. Ends must be able to continue.[/red] You can see there's an edge with [red]red[/red], which means it is not a legal placement. [tip] Let's click the tile and rotate it by 90 degrees. Once you finish, select the button on the top "*Place track*". !!! Please don't rotate it into the 3rd 90 degree and place the track or the tutorial cannot move on. !!! DogEgg258Yes. A normal track can be replaced with a condition: besides the normal placing rule, *existing paths must remain the same*. The track used to replace can be *normal* or with [green]*green background*[/green]. Placing [green]*green background*[/green] tracks must follow the normal rules. [green]*These tiles*[/green] are special just because they *cannot be replaced*. 1square_5_8

DogEgg258One more thing for the replacing rule. In normal placing, you will draw tiles from the supply after your turn. But if you replaced a track, *the track you replaced goes into your hand*. This track can be immediately used in your second placement in the turn (if you replace it with the first placement). When refill your hand, it will always refill to a maximum of 5. 2square_5_8

DogEgg258Each building on the board has a *letter token*. Once a neighbor space is placed, the token must *move towards the track*. From now on the track is the only station for the building. Even if there is [red]more than one track next to the building[/red], only [green]the first one can be a station[/green]. That's all for phase 1. We will quickly move on to phase 2. 1board_4

DogEgg258On your turn, you can roll 3 dice. After rolling, you *must* choose one to use. Then, you *can* roll the two rest dice and choose one to use. After that, you *can* roll the last die. If you do so, you *must* use the die. 1maintitlebar_content

DogEgg258These three dice have the same six-sided patterns, with five different symbols. You can see your trolley route by clicking the button "*Show Shortest Route*". [blue]*DogEgg*[/blue] has not start phase 2. He cannot complete his route.
