• Please explain your suggestion precisely and concisely so that it's as easy as possible to understand what you mean.
Rather than set colours, it would be nice to be able to have more variation in shades• What is your browser?

I put this comment on a similar post, but I think there should be pallet levels in the settings as some might find a paint wheel overwhelming, so I think the option to have an advanced or basic selection would be the right way forward so those who want this can have it and those who want a game with just 10 basic paints get that too.

I don't agree. I don't think MORE colors are needed, just different colors. Suggest using an established color palette such as Google's Material Design. If you picked all the 600-level shades, this will give a good variety of colors (~16 or so) which work well together and provide plenty of options across the color spectrum without needing to worry about offering too much choice and overwhelming users.
