#43000: "Water does not fill in immediately; thus game requires placing tracks there if not placed elsewhere"
What is this report about?

Rules: a rule of the game has not been respected
Detailed description
• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
On Lake Expansion, water does not fill in immediately, which prevents hitting Done (when you could be done in the physical version) -- see "Any additional useful information below"• Is the rules violation visible on game replay? If yes, at which move number?
An example game is listed above. Last round of the game, on right side. There was a space that I wanted to fill in in with water, but the only place to put the straight piece was where I wanted the water to go.
I had to change where I put the pieces based on the current implementation.• What is your browser?

However, water does not fill in immediately as listed in the rules (but rather at the end of the round) -- This means the Done button is not available (as it should be) if the only place to put a piece is where the water would fill in.
What is actually happening, is if the player places the lake piece down, water doesn't fill in immediately as expected, and then they have to place the piece where the water would go (resulting in the piece filling that space instead of water)

So yeah, this is a bug.

30. Dec 2021 15:33 • This was specifically changed by a request of the publisher:
"We found a minor error in the lake exp. 3 sides of the lake set up a whole lake only at the end of the turn, so that in the current turn it is possible to place a piece in that square."
But I agree that reading the rules suggest differently, so I ask them to recheck this again.

If one wants to place some road in the square, they can do it before placing the lake tile !
