Detailed description
• Please explain your suggestion precisely and concisely so that it's as easy as possible to understand what you mean.
Would be nice to have an undo after buying the card, before locking in the action and waiting for other players• What is your browser?

Kayvon • Developers think that it is not a good idea or that the cost/benefit ratio is too high:
1. Dec 2023 4:44 • No, it would be an "are you sure?" button that appears when you try to buy a card. So you'd click either "gain 2VP" or "buy card" and then you'd choose the card and click "confirm" (I believe this is the current sequence; I'm sure the button names are better), then you'd add an extra click that reads "yes, really confirm" with better wording.
Buying a card is an atomic action that constitutes your entire turn at this point, so once you've confirmed the card your turn automatically ends and a player's turn begins. At that point, undo doesn't work because it interferes with the new player's turn.

18. Jan 2024 23:39 • It's actually not buying the card I want to undo, it's the effect of the card which is to remove a token from my ship.

19. Jan 2024 0:35 • It is still my turn, it's asking me to draw cards, therefore an undo should be available. The reason why this is important also is because it didn't ask me what influence marker to move up, it just gave me one option (perhaps another bug?)

19. Jan 2024 2:03 • The amount of effort required to add an undo for this narrow case isn't justified. You can certainly undo your turn when you're taking it, but for the single decision (play a card or gain 2VP) at round's end, we won't be adding undo.

Suggestion text: "Would be nice to have an undo after buying the card"
> This isn't about buying a card a round's end.
This suggestion is about adding an undo to buying a card at the end of the round. It's been asked and answered, repeatedly.
When you give a single-line response to say that someone is wrong without explaining what you believe is right, it's simply argumentative. You're welcome to take such debates to the forums, but further argumentative responses will be removed from suggestions/bugs.

22. Mar 2025 14:40 • I agree this is a problem. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to undo the card I buy at the end of round. It's not the next players turn yet as I still haven't drawn a card. If I were playing with people in person, I could just say "oops never mind,I want to play this instead".
It's not that outlandish of a concept imo

22. Mar 2025 14:58 • I agree, it's not outlandish. If it were as simple as checking a box, I would do it. The amount of effort required to add an undo for this narrow case isn't justified. You can certainly undo your turn when you're taking it, but for the single decision (play a card or gain 2VP) at round's end, we won't be adding undo.
