The collaborative translation system has been with BGA almost from the start to allow as many people as possible throughout the world to play together with no language barrier. We are quite happy and proud about it, but of course it's not perfect.
With more than 150 games - and translations happening in 35 languages - we tried to see what we could fix or do better.
1) With so many translations, fixing mistakes in validated translations has become tedious. Doing it manually when reported by players in the forums was slow and time consuming. So we decided to trust the community some more, and to allow players to fix validated strings directly if they have enough experience on BGA and on the game. Please be aware that fixing validated translations doesn't award any gift points, and should be done only to correct clear and obvious mistakes. It's best not to make changes you are not sure of, and always stay as close as possible to the original English text in meaning and style.
2) For some languages there is not a lot of translators and we wanted to try to make things easier, so we thought that it would be faster for translators to proofread and correct than to translate everything. So when possible (which means when there is no substitution parameter involved making the text dynamic), we will now propose a computer generated translation by default, and then translators will be able to either make changes to improve it as usual, or just to confirm it in one click if it's already good! These default translations will appear progressively in the weeks to come, and this new functionnality should allow us in the future to open the website in more languages for which we don't currently have enough players to bootstrap a translation, and maybe spark interest for players in these languages.
Let's be clear, this is absolutely not meant to replace the current community based translation system! We really need the translators help in translating dynamic strings and in proofreading the translations to have them meet the "human quality" level that creates a smooth and natural play experience.
3) Even with good intentions, some mistakes were made by translators making changes to the original English text. And that was really a bummer, because mistakes propagate to all languages afterwards... So for English, we decided to set up a validation step to avoid mistakes. If you spot something incorrect in the English version of the website or in an English text you are currently translating, you can look for that text in the "from English to English" translation system, and propose a change (with a comment!). This change will then be validated (or refused) by the BGA team.
4) Since we didn't think about setting up specific guidelines about punctuation, some translators added or removed final punctuation a little anarchically over the years, for example adding an ending dot for text used in buttons (Yikes! 😯 ). We homogenized that to get back to the intention of the developer in terms of meaning expressed through punctuation and clarity of the interface (a website is not a book). Now we also trigger a warning if the final punctuation is changed: translators reported some cases where it can be legitimate, so it can still be done, but please be careful with this, it should stay exceptional!

Neke novosti o sistemu prevođenja!
Kolaborativno prevođenje sistem je bio sa BGA skoro od samog početka da dozvoli onoliko ljudi što je moguće širom sveta da igramo zajedno sa bez jezička barijera.
Mi smo vrlo sretan i ponosan zbog toga, ali naravno, to nije savršen.
Sa više od 150 igara - i prevode događa u 35 jezika - probali smo da vidimo šta smo mogli popraviti ili bolje.
1) sa toliko prevode, popravljanje grešaka u važećim prevode je postao dosadan.
Radim to ručno kada prijavilo igrača na forumima je bio spor i dugotrajan.
Pa smo odlučili da verujem zajednice još maloi da se omogući igračima da popravi proveriti valjanost niske direktno ako imaju dovoljno iskustva na BGA i na igru.
Imajte na umu da popravljam važećim prevodi ne nagradi poene dar i treba da se uradi samo da ispravan jasno i očigledno greške.
Najbolje je ne menjate niste sigurni od, i uvek ostati što bliže da originalni engleski tekst u smisao i stil.
2) za neke jezike ne postoji mnogo prevodilaca i hteli smo da probam da ispravim stvari lakše, pa smo mislili da bi bilo brže za prevodioce da izvrši proveru i ispravne nego da prevedem sve.
Kada je moguće (što znači kada postoji parametar bez zamene uključeni pravi tekst dinamički), sada Predlažemo da je kompjuterski generisane prevođenje podrazumevani, a zatim prevodilaca moći će da napravite promene u svakom da poboljša to kao Uobičajeni, ili je samo to u jednim klikom potvrdite ako već je dobro!
Ove podrazumevane prevode u pojaviće se progresivno u narednim nedeljama, a ovaj novi functionnality bi nam omogućilo u budućnosti da otvorite Web lokacija na više jezika , za koji mi trenutno nemamo dovoljno igrača da se pokrene Prevod , i mozda iskra interesa za igrače na ovim jezicima.
Da budemo jasni, ovo je apsolutno nije cilj da se zameni postojeći sistem prevođenja zajednica na osnovu!
Stvarno nam treba prevodilaca pomoć u prevođenja dinamičkog niske i proveru na prevode da ih upoznam „ljudska osobina” nivou koji stvara iskustvo za igre glatko i prirodno.
3) čak i sa dobrim namerama, neke greške su napravljene od strane prevodilaca da promene u originalni engleski tekst.
I to je stvarno bilo bezveze, jer greške proširuju na sve jezike, nakon toga...
Tako za engleski, odlučili smo da biste podesili valjanosti korak da biste izbegli greške.
Ako opazite nešto neispravna u Engleskoj verziji Web lokacije ili u trenutno prevođenja za engleski tekst, taj tekst možete da potražite u „iz engleskog na engleski” prevođenje sistema, i Predloži promena (sa komentar!).
Ova promena će onda biti proverena (ili odbili) od momčadi BGA.
4) od kad ne mislimo o podešavanju određena uputstva o interpunkcija, neki prevodioci dodaju ili uklone minut.dok malo anarchically tokom godina, na primer dodajući da je krajnji dot za teksta koji se koristi u dugmad (Yikes!

Homogenizovano smo to da se vratim namera autora u pogledu izrazio je značenje kroz znakove interpunkcije i jasnoća interfejs (Web lokacija nije knjiga).
Sada smo takođe aktivirati upozorenje ako je promenjena minut.dok: prevodilaca je prijavila nekim slučajevima gde to mogu biti legitimno, tako da to može biti zadovoljena, ali molim te, budi oprezan s tim, da ostane izuzetan!
Hvala još jednom sve prevodilaca iz zajednice doprinosi njihovom vremenu da dozvoli igrača iz celog sveta da bi igrali igre na tabli na svom maternjem jeziku!
