Player Bodyelectric has coral castle place of power & illusion object.
He triggered coral castle power to perform an immediate victory control.• What happened when you try to do this (error message, game status bar message, ...)?

It is a bug
Illusion react power should have been triggered as it is reacting to same player's power (coral castle immediate victory check).
It would have added either one creature or one dragon, increasing player victory points from Bestriary place of power.

In this game I used coral castle to check victory but it just failed without giving me the option to spend essence for illusion. In consecutive move I used bestiary and it did ask for illusion then. Nothing changed in my play area between these 2 moves.

this is confirmed, and other situation exists with the second expansion also
