The interface blocked me to do some game action authorized by the rules

• Which was the game action you wanted to do?
I tried to use the card Route to trigger another player's red building to defeat the event cards with at least one coin on the cards. But I could not do it.• What do you try to do to trigger this game action?
Click another players red building with a red meeple on it.• What happened when you try to do this (error message, game status bar message, ...)?

I used the white level 2 bridge card but then it didn’t let me choose to activate the other players card.
