Rules: a rule of the game has not been respected
Detailed description
• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
The game ends with a victory, even if the gardeners get caught. This isn't really a rules violation per say because the game still ends, but it seems like that should be a defeat state.• Is the rules violation visible on game replay? If yes, at which move number?

No, the score is still the score. But it shouldn't be counted as a victory unless you finish the garden without being caught. (There is a 10 point penalty for being caught, so if the gardeners get caught at 36, their final score should be 26, defeat)

I can't do that as the framework is set to display positive score as 'win' in solo or co-op games.
Either the score should be 0 or the status has to be 'victory' at least in the final screen.
Hence 'Executed by the Queen' stat tracks actual win/loss record instead.

Ahh, ok. Understood... It might be better to have the score set to 0 on being caught then... just because of how weird it feels to get executed and see 'win.' I'm not sure.

I think for now the best is that it says win, but the 10 point deduction still happens and it says 'Executed by Queen'

I will add my comment from the duplicate bug here also for reference, in my opinion an execution should really result in a loss:
I am not suggesting a house rule, the actual rules from the game are very explicit:
“ You and your teammates immediately lose the game if the Queen reaches or passes the Gardeners on the score track “
It is actually your implementation and the default BGA behavior that are leading to a house rule, by incorrectly recording a positive score as a Win. (Other games on BGA sometimes work around this by forcing scores to become negative in case of specific losing conditions - something you could also easily achieve by for instance distracting another -1000 or whatever when executed by the queen)
Please, take this up again and discuss this issue with the publisher, it seems really strange that they would prefer to have all games declared as Win.

Received a mail from the publisher. The final score will be changed into 0 when they lose.

From now on losing a game will treat the final score as 0.
