Most recently, I've noticed this in the turn leading up to move #479 on table 275350164. My score was 88, I fulfilled a contract worth 12 VP, the game log showed me gaining 12 VP, but my player summary only increased my score to 90, thus appearing to give me only 2 VP. When I reloaded the table, my player summary correctly showed a score of 100.
Another interesting thing: in order to confirm that I could reproduce this, I used the BGA feature to replay the most recent turns. Sure enough, I saw my score increase from 88 to only 90. Before I could reload the table, the next player signed on and completed their move, and when they did so, my displayed score reverted all the way down to 78! Note that this number is 10 VP less than where my score had been at the beginning of my previous turn. But again, once I reload the table, the scores appear correctly.
I wonder if this could be related to the bug described in report #66160. When I wrote that report, what I initially thought was that the game was showing scoring adjustments instead of actual scores, but now that I think about it, that bug was showing scores to be exactly 10 VP less than they should have been, and both instances of this bug that I've described above involve that same interval. It could be coincidence, I suppose, or it could be important. -
