• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
When you begin an auction where a tile is face down, if you play a survey card for that area, then you should be able to peek at that tile prior to placing your bid. I don't see this as an option anywhere. Moreover, after the first round of bidding, we noticed that the face down tile is now revealed for everyone to see, which is contrary to the auction rules.

You can see now that the tile is revealed for everyone, where it started the auction face down.

It has happened in both of the auctions where the tile began face down.

can't peek at face down tile after selecting survey card I mean

Cannot record a video, can upload an image, but imgur doesn't work for me. But the comment it's pretty straight forward, with both tile and survey card selected, tile cannot be seen/peeked, and only have an option of bidding on the upper buttons. If there is a different way of seeing the tile, it's not intuitive

It works after the first bidding, but according to the rules it should be possible before that first bidding
