Suggestion: in my opinion, the following would greatly improve the website
Detailed description
• Please explain your suggestion precisely and concisely so that it's as easy as possible to understand what you mean.
In addition to preventing red thumbs from playing or chatting with you, please include "sending friend request". I am trying to distance myself from people who have cheated or behaved inappropriately in the past, and I can't report the player because they are using a new account instead of their old one which is now deleted.• What is your browser?

In my opinion, the closer a red thumb is to a full block, the better. I was also disappointed to see that people I've red thumbed are able to spectate my current games, though was comforted that they would not be able to chat.

I think this is an extremely important issue for people being harassed in an around BGA, and so I'm adding a comment to help bump this up the priority list.
Friend requests can be used by red-thumbed individuals as a message of 'I see you' to the ones who wished to stop contact, which can be distressing. Allowing friend requests from player X to be received by player Y who has previously demanded to minimise contact with player X is illogical at best.

This is now implemented: giving a red thumb to a player will prevent you from receiving a friend request from that player.
