Where in there does it tell you what color you are. All throughout the game I only know what color I am because of the last player's move. On my first move, I did not know what color I was. The sentence I "suggested" of course was only a suggestion. I am sure your programmers could make it much more clear. If nothing else. Indicate what color you are somewhere.
