In the classic edition : when you have to discard spice, all yours highlight in blue. Then you click on the ones you want to discard and these ones highlight in red. If you click again, it come back to blue. And finally, when activate the 'Discard' button, it discard only the red highlighted spice (correct way to work, no problem).

In the golem edition : when you have to discard spice, all yours highlight in yellow. Then you click on the one you want to discard and the highlight color does not change. So you can not see which spices will be discard.
Note : the selection DOES work, but nothing appears on the screen to show it.

We also experienced this in our game. We played the Golem edition and when forced to discard down to 10, they all show as selected in gold. When you hover over any of the boxes they turn blue but if you click it nothing happens. When you ultimately do click "Discard Selected" because you have no other options, the game discards a seemingly random amount, not the amount you are over 10 by.

I had 16 spices, so I want to select 6 spices to discard.
Only 1 spice highlights in blue. The others are highlight in purple.I could’ t discard anything.

I have accidentally discarded 4 crystals instead of just 2, as I was trying to even select them, but it kept saying I need to discard down to 10, then after few tries it just discarded 4.
