Detailed description
• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
Potion color was selected and logged, but the color of the other players’ non-potion card was used as the potion color effect.• Is the rules violation visible on game replay? If yes, at which move number?

I thought that this was an error also, and tried to raise a ticket.
But now I have been in touch with Mandoo to clarify.
So - as I now understand it, the BGA version is correct.
When you play a potion and ASK for a colour, opponent MUST respond with that colour if they can, and the potion's effects ARE that colour.
However, if they do not have that colour they may play one of the others, and the EFFECT of the potion becomes the colour that they played.
So, one HOPES to get the colour called for, but one's hopes may be dashed - sadly, and annoyingly.
If they reply with a potion, there is NO effect at all.
Highest card NUMBER always wins in this scenario.
