Maybe place the coordonates outside the board?• What is your browser?

It's difficult to read the letters/numbers at first glance

Thank you for your suggestion, Emma. The letters were green, which was even less readable. Jurica mentioned that they were difficult to read, so I changed them to magenta. I don't think there's one ideal color. The background of granite (from my kitchen) kind of camouflages the letters, regardless of color.
I hope you're seeing the magenta, and not the old green color. If not, please try clearing your browser cache.
