• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
We were using NA Scrabble dictionary and RESTAURANT was not allowed.

Every word game dictionary I know of, including NA Scrabble has RESTAURANT as a valid word. Are 10 letter words allowed in Hardback?

Confirmed. Somehow part of the word list is missing.
