#160966: "Equal turns option doesn't count all goals completed"

Rules: a rule of the game has not been respected
Detailed description
• Which part of the rules was not respected by the BGA adaptation
I've already submitted this as a comment within boardgamearena.com/bug?id=139314, but since that record has been marked "implemented", I believe the following was missed. I've marked this new report as not following the rules because I think the equal turns option should ONLY be implemented if it also takes the following into account:
I'd like to suggest another adjustment to the "Equal Turns" rule:
Determine the outcome (i.e the winner and rank of other players) based on the number of objectives that each player has completed after everyone has placed the same number of tiles (regardless of how many tokens are being used in the game). Without this adjustment, players can tie even when one or more of them could have played additional tokens (if they'd had them).
Here's an example: imgur.com/a/qwLrTOL
(from boardgamearena.com/table?table=610766824)
With the physical game, I would use some other token (coins, or an unused color token) to cover additional completed objectives on the tiles. It is not unusual for physical copies of games to allow for token substitutions.• Is the rules violation visible on game replay? If yes, at which move number?
End of game scoring: Score totals should be 23 for one player, 22 for the other (not 22-22)• What is your browser?

I had proposed to use the equal turns option for this season’s Arena format. It garnered the most votes, but wasn’t allowed due to its beta status. Therefore, please ensure to change the status once the option is working as intended.
I’m sure most competitive players would appreciate a level playing field.

I checked the Log of that Game boardgamearena.com/table?table=657747195
There you was the start player and your opponent got the last turn. So everyone had an equal amount.

18. May 2025 16:50 • I submitted this report (above) because of my concern about how the equal turns rule (by itself) sometimes causes players to inappropriately share a win, and tagged this report as a rule violation because I didn't know what else to call it.
I wanted to clarify that the suggestion I made above is essentially just applying a tiebreaker to any scenario where it isn't appropriate for players share a win.
Maybe Uwe Rosenberg himself should weigh in on this? Playing Framework with equal turns introduces new issues that weren't relevant with the original game design.
