Detailed description
-
• Which was the game action you wanted to do?
trying to build a blue 2 visible gizmo, i have 2 yellow marbles
i want to:
1. convert 1 yellow to 1 red
2. double that red
3. convert both reds to 2blue
-
• What do you try to do to trigger this game action?
clicked as usual
-
• What happened when you try to do this (error message, game status bar message, ...)?
In step 1: because I intend to build a blue gizmo, the simplified converter interface automatically chooses blue, instead of the red I want. I should be able to convert a yellow to any color I choose, even if it's not the color of the card I want to buy. I do appreciate the automation of the simple converters, but I think we should be able to change it off of the automatic pick, for the converter to work as intended.
Since that didn't work, I tried to use another converter to make blue from step 1 into red, then I could complete steps 2+3 of my plan. Since the intended gizmo was blue, I got this message: "Selected gizmo is already blue; no reason to convert." In my case, there is a reason for me to convert away from blue, therefore the interface is setting an unnecessary constraint. • What is your browser?
Google Chrome v133

If your gizmo actually costs 2 then it would behave the way you're describing.
