It will perfectly ok if we can just remove the token and just write:

I agree, there is no need for 'their/your hand' as you can play only your own fate tokens.

Those tokens were added to support the two-player challenge mode, where the "hand" tokens indicate which of your two hands you will be playing from ("hand A" or "hand B", and the corresponding color).
If this is causing trouble for translation, then I think the best fix may be to have two similar but separate messages, one for the two-player challenge mode and one for other situations. When I have some time, I'll look at what it would take to do that.
