The interface blocked me to do some game action authorized by the rules

Skip a player due to time running out or quit without penalty.

• What do you try to do to trigger this game action?
Click the buttons.

• What happened when you try to do this (error message, game status bar message, ...)?
Error. Says player hasn't run out of time. Says I can quit without penalty. I tried that but then says I can't join back in without penalty.
