The bug can affect both yellow and purple powers, when a column is temporarily overfilled until a player sends a bubblee away (to their score area, or to their opponent's planet). The rules allow the player to choose any "free"/"uncovered" bubblee to send. The rules state that "A Bubblee is considered free if no Bubblee stands on top of it." The player *should* be able to send the topmost bubblee, which is temporarily overflowing from their planet. Instead, the BGA implementation lets them send the bubblee from the topmost of the four positions in the 4x5 planet grid, even though that bubblee is covered by the newly-fallen bubblee.
The bug is 100% repeatable. Indeed the player in table 517183363 knows this bug, and chose a play to take advantage of the bug.
This bug has been reported previously (e.g. boardgamearena.com/bug?id=13968, and others), without any action/fix.

I couldn't use the purple power to send my top black bubble in the middle column, because the interface wouldn't let me select a bubble that was "not on my planet" but illogically i was able to send the orange bubble underneath the black bubble. That does not follow the rules which state that purple power allows to send only a bubble that is NOT covered.
